Dick Advocaat has left Sunderland AFC today after yesterdays 2-2 draw at home to West Ham United.

After weeks of speculation, today saw Advocaat leave the club. Sunderland look to appoint there 4th manager 2 games before the Wear-Tyne derby in as many years.

Sean Dyche, Nigel Pearson and Sam Allardyce all look to be in contention for the job.

Advocaat has waved any settlement from the club and has clearly left with his head held high and dignity well in tact.

Dick said ” I have made the decision to go after only eight games as I felt it was important to give everyone time to turn things round like we did last year.”
So, where do we go from here?
