Sunderland hosted West Ham on Saturday with the Hosts looking for their first win of the season.

Sunderland started brightly with a goal in the 10th minute coming from Steven Fletcher after a well worked free kick. Jeremaine Lens made it 2-0 to the hosts with an excellent lobbed finish over the West Ham keeper.

The game could have been out of sight before half time with Fabio Borini missing an excellent chance and John Oshea drawing a good save from Adrian.

One minute into added time Victor Moses crossed from the left wing, for Carl Jenkinson to finish off with his weaker left foot.

The game opened up in the second half when Referee Neil Swarbrick sent off Lens for a second bookable offence. Moments later Dimitri Payet latched onto Costel Pantilimons spilled save and made it 2-2.

Both sides will be disappointed not to take away all three points. Referee Neil Swarbrick ruined the game with a handful of awful decisions. Sunderland go into the International break uncertain of manager Dick Advocaats future.
