Sunderland can travel to Vicarage Road for the last game of the season knowing their Premier league status is safe.

The Black Cats can field a weakened side and fans can sit back and relax, but both sides who have nothing to play for, will still hope to end the season with a win.

Team News

Sunderland boss Sam Allardyce has stated he will be promoting some of the under 21 side into the first team. The Black Cats have no fresh injuries but will probably rest players after a long old season.

Watford will want to give Quique Sanchez Flores a god send off as the manager is leaving at the end of the season. Valon Behrami and Etienne Capoue remain on the sidelines with rib and knee injuries respectively.

This is the Sunderland Lineup id play to give youngsters and fringe players a run out in the last game of the season. I’d still start Defoe as an England call up has been talked about after Welbeck was injured against Manchester City. However, I’m unsure as to whether or not Jermain has travelled down South with the squad.

I’d predict Watfords lineup to be filled with youngsters who aren’t regulars alongside fringe players, but it wouldn’t surprise me if they had a strong side out.

It would be brilliant to see some of the youngsters have a real go and come out with the win come Sunday Evening.

Ha’way the lads!
